Mariam Lobjanidze has joined the Energy and Environment Policy Research Center (EEPRC) at the ISET Policy Institute since September 2018, where she is currently a Senior Researcher. She received her Master’s Degree in Economics (Summa cum Laude) from ISET. She has been actively involved in conducting Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) since 2019. Mariam was also involved in delivering RIA Training for Government Officials in Georgia. Since 2020, she has been actively working on elaborating gender impact assessments (GIA) methodology for Georgia and conducting GIAs. Her research interests include: Gender Economics and Social Issues, Renewable Energy Sources, Energy Security, and Climate Change.
Along with her research, Ms. Lobjanidze works as a teaching assistant at ISET, teaching Econometrics for second-year BA students. Between 2017 and 2019, she also worked as a teaching assistant in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics courses.
