The project, Cost-Benefit Analysis of Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Options in Selected Sectors in Georgia, supports the World Bank’s Country Climate and Development Report (CCDR) by providing an in-depth analysis of the agriculture and tourism sectors. Its objective is to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of adaptation and mitigation measures in these sectors, offering actionable recommendations for climate-resilient development in Georgia.
Under this project, the ISET Policy Institute employs a mixed-method approach, including literature reviews, stakeholder consultations, and cost-benefit analyses (CBA). The team will identify, evaluate, and prioritize climate adaptation and mitigation measures in agriculture and tourism, incorporating insights from international practices and local data.
Funded by the World Bank, the project delivers results in stages, including detailed reports and recommendations to help Georgia achieve its climate resilience and sustainability goals.
