ISET’s director recently participated in the EU Stronger Together Conference, centered on the EaP Neighbourhood: Promoting the Clean Energy Transition in Eastern Partnership Countries. The conference, highlighting the key achievements and goals under clean energy initiatives, was hosted by the European Commission, the EU Delegation to Eastern Partnership Countries, Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER), Energy Community Secretariat (EnC), and International Energy Agency (IEA).

შრომის საერთაშორისო ორგანიზაციამ (ILO) 2000 წელს დედობის დაცვის კონვენცია (ნ. C183) შეიმუშავა. კონვენცია იმ მინიმალურ სტანდარტებს ადგენს, რომელთა დანერგვაც ორსული ქალებისა და დასაქმებული დედების დასაცავად არის საჭირო შრომის ბაზარზე. ამ დროისათვის კონვენცია ILO-ის 39 წევრ ქვეყანაშია რატიფიცირებული. მათ რიცხვში საქართველო (ILO-ის წევრი 1993 წლიდან) ჯერ არ შედის. აკმაყოფილებს თუ არა ქვეყნის მოქმედი კანონმდებლობა კონვენციით დადგენილ მინიმალურ სტანდარტებს?

პოლიტიკის დოკუმენტი აჯამებს შრომის საერთაშორისო ორგანიზაციის (ILO) ოჯახში დასაქმებულების შესახებ 189-ე კონვენციის შესაძლო რატიფიცირებაზე რეგულირების ზეგავლენის შეფასების (RIA) მთავარ მიგნებებს. კონვენცია მიზნად ისახავს ყველასთვის ღირსეული შრომის უზრუნველყოფასა და ოჯახში დასაქმებულების ფუნდამენტური უფლებების დაცვას.

ISET is proud to announce its most recent joint research presentation into our impact assessment on domestic work and its influences on female economic empowerment in Georgia. Supported and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the Austrian Development Cooperation, and hosted by UN Women, the presentation aimed to highlight women’s labor rights and access to reasonable work.

Salome Gelashvili recently became a member of a working group under the Agrarian Issues Committee of the Georgian parliament. The composition of the working group, members of which include the Georgian Farmers Association (GFA), REC Caucasus, and ISET representatives amongst others, was approved on 20 May 2021.
