The International School of Economics is seeking Multimedia Specialist.
Multimedia Specialist is generally responsible for producing, managing, and publishing print, web, and multimedia materials for ISET and ISET-PI (including video and visualizations). S/he will report to Head of Communications Department.
General duties and responsibilities:
• Participate in the development and implementation of annual communication strategies and action plans;
• Together with the Communications Team, contribute to the advancement of ISET’s communications competence and building the capacity of ISET-PI research staff;
• Maintain an archive of all publications, print, and broadcast media coverage;
• Create brief video series and animations following guest lectures and seminars;
• Draft publicity materials (creating posters - for example, 101 economics lecture series, creating/updating brochures, newsletters, booklets, business cards, banners, etc.)
• Provide technical support for ISET and ISET-PI website development and maintenance;
• Collect and analyze statistical data about web and social media engagement on a regular basis;
• Manage external consultants to be engaged in IT support, design, and layout tasks;
• Take part in ISET-PI meetings to generate project and publication ideas, come up with new and/or enhance existing products and publications.
Required skills and qualifications:
• A university degree in media and arts, social sciences, or communications (e.g. journalism, multimedia)
• Excellent command of English and Georgian languages (both speaking and writing)
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, diligence, initiative, and creativity
• High proficiency in specialized graphic design, publication, and photo/video editing software is required (ex. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Cinema 4D, Premiere Pro, Final Cut).
• Experience in managing communications via web platforms and social media
• Having work experience with international organizations, NGOs, the public or private sector is an advantage.
