ISETs Rati Kochlamazashvili earns scholarship, studies in Israel
პარასკევი, 30 ნოემბერი, 2018

ISET’s Irakli ‘Rati’ Kochlamazashvili, the deputy head of the Agricultural Policy Research Center, has been awarded the prestigious MASHAV Scholarship to attend the “Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics – Changes in the Era of Globalization” program conducted by the International School of Agricultural Sciences of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Robert H. Smith, Faculty of Agriculture, Food & Environment.

MASHAV is the Hebrew acronym for Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation, a department established 50 years ago within the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. MASHAV is responsible for designing and implementing Israel’s international development programs, which are carried out in Israel and in developing partner countries. The main criteria for the selection in the program are to be a mid-career decision-maker and policy advice practitioner.

Rati spent three weeks in November 2018 at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food & Environment, attending lectures, seminars, and study tours to explore the innovative sustainability approaches centered on confronting changing global environments and increasing both food security and economic stability. ISET is proud of Rati for his achievement and for further expanding both his own and the institute’s international horizons.
