გთხოვთ, გაითვალისწინოთ, რომ ხაჭაპურის ინდექსის 2016 წლის 29 თებერვლის ანგარიში ხელმისაწვდომია მხოლოდ ინგლისურ ენაზე.

მიკლრაითის მონაცემებით (მაკროეკონომიკა და მონაცემები ბავშვებზე, UNICEF 2000 წ.), 1991 წელს საქართველოს მთლიანი შიდა პროდუქტის მხოლოდ 7% დაიხარჯა განათლებაზე. 1994 წელს ეს მაჩვენებელი 1%-მდე დაეცა. როგორც მიკლრაითი აღნიშნავს, საგანმანათლებლო ხარჯების ასეთი მკვეთრი დაცემა არც მანამდე და არც შემდეგ არ მომხდარა არც ერთ სხვა ქვეყანაში. კრიზისის შემდეგი მდგომარეობიდან გამოსვლას დიდი დრო დასჭირდა.
