On May 13, 2016, ISET hosted the head of the IMF in Georgia, Azim Sadikov, who delivered a lecture for participants of ISET’s Finance Course for Professionals. The subject of his lecture was “Macro-economic challenges in Georgia and the strengths and weaknesses of its emerging capital markets”.

დაახლოებით სამი წლის წინ ISET Economist-ის ბლოგის ერთ-ერთ სტატიაში განვიხილეთ დეპოზიტების დაზღვევის იდეა და მისი განხორციელების გზები საქართველოში. დღეს დეპოზიტების დაზღვევის სქემა არა აბსტრაქტული იდეა, არამედ კარს მომდგარი რეალობაა. სულ ცოტა ხნის წინ საქართველოს ფინანსთა სამინისტრომ განიხილა ქვეყანაში დეპოზიტების დაზღვევის სისტემის განხორციელების კანონპროექტი.

On May 14, 2016, ISET will hold Admissions exams in English and Mathematics. Exams will be held simultaneously in Baku, Tbilisi, and Yerevan.

On May 8, an ISET team participated in the “Wings for Life World Run 2016” charity event held on Lopota Lake in the Kakheti region of eastern Georgia. In total, ISET representatives ran almost 15 kilometers.
