ივნისის დასაწყისში მთელი მსოფლიოს ყურადღება შვეიცარიისკენ იქნება მიმართული, რადგან 5 ივნისს ამ ზღაპრული ქვეყნის მოქალაქეებმა მონაწილეობა უნდა მიიღონ რეფერენდუმში, რომლის თანახმადაც სახელმწიფო გარანტიას აძლევს თითოეულ მოქალაქეს, რომ მინიმალური შემოსავალი წელიწადში დაახლოებით 30,000 აშშ დოლარი ექნება.

On May 8, an ISET team participated in the “Wings for Life World Run 2016” charity event held on Lopota Lake in the Kakheti region of eastern Georgia. In total, ISET representatives ran almost 15 kilometers.

Georgia's education system seems to be broken. It is no longer corrupt, which is good, but it does not deliver the quality that we all want and need. Our teachers are among the lowest paid in Georgia and in the world. Quality is an issue at all levels of education, starting with preschools and ending with graduate and post-graduate education.

On 18 April 2016 ISET hosted Dr. Donghyun Park, a principal economist with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), who presented his team’s research: the Impact of China’s Slowdown on the World Economy. The talk was attended by ISET students and faculty, as well as representatives of Georgia’s leading businesses and business associations.

WIN/Gallup-ის მიერ 2015 წელს ჩატარებული კვლევის თანახმად, ქართველთა 93% თავს რელიგიურად მიიჩნევს. მსოფლიოში მხოლოდ ერთ ქვეყანას, ტაილანდს, აქვს უფრო მაღალი მაჩვენებელი, სადაც ეს რიცხვი 94%-ს აღწევს. საქართველოს მსგავსი მაჩვენებელი გვხვდება მხოლოდ სომხეთში, ბანგლადეშსა და მაროკოში. მსოფლიოს სხვა ქვეყნები შედარებით ნაკლებად არიან მოცულნი რელიგიით.
