Gigla Mikautadze, the manager of ISET’s “ReforMeter” project, was invited by the International Monetary Fund to the annual meetings of the World Bank Group and the IMF which took a place in Washington D.C. October 9-14. The participants of the event discussed the current trends in the global economy, government policies, and strategies for poverty reduction.

7 ივნისს, საქართველოში ვიზიტის ფარგლებში, ბატონი ენტონი დე ლანოიმ, საერთაშორისო სავალუტო ფონდის (IMF) აღმასრულებელმა დირექტორმა, რომელიც 15 სხვა ქვეყანასთან ერთად წარმოადგენს საქართველოს IMF-ის დირექტორთა საბჭოში, ISET-ის მკვლევრების, სტუდენტების, მენეჯერებისა და საქართველოს ბანკის წარმომადგენლებთან შეხვედრისას ისაუბრა IMF-სა და მის თანამშრომლობაზე საქართველოსთან.

22 მაისს ISET-ის კვლევითმა ინსტიტუტმა (ISET-PI) უმასპინძლა ფრანსუა პაშუს, საერთაშორისო სავალუტო ფონდის (IMF) წარმომადგენელს საქართველოში, რომელმაც წარმოადგინა IMF-ის 2017 წლის კავკასიისა და ცენტრალური აზიის რეგიონული ეკონომიკური მიმოხილვა. პრეზენტაციაზე გამოყოფილი იყო მსოფლიო და რეგიონული გარემოს სამი ძირითადი სფერო: მიმოხილვა, პოლიტიკის სამოქმედო გეგმა და პრიორიტეტები.

On November 2, ISET hosted Francois Painchaud, the IMF Resident Representative in Georgia. Mr. Painchaud presented the 2016 November Regional Economic Outlook for the Caucasus and Central Asia, highlighting three main areas: global and regional environment, outlook and policy actions, and policy priorities.

On December 5, ISET hosted Azim Sadikov, IMF Resident Representative in Georgia. Mr. Sadikov presented the 2014 October Regional Economic Outlook.
