On December 9-10 Lasha Lanchava from ISET Policy Institute traveled to Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) at Stockholm School of Economics to present his recent experimental work done at ISET and to discuss the possibility of cooperation between SITE and ISET. Lasha presented various projects including an experiment conducted in cooperation with the Revenue Service of Georgia, a field experiment planned under the auspices of the ENPARD project, and a study that aims at evaluating the impact of government scholarships on long-term life outcomes. After his presentations, Lasha held meetings with SITE representatives to further discuss the details of the projects and to find common ground for further cooperation that would eventually lead to the creation of a regional experimental economics hub at ISET.

Despite a busy schedule, Lasha was invited to the traditional Swedish Christmas dinner where he enjoyed the delicious local cuisine and received a Christmas gift from the SITE’s own Santa. Lasha is extremely grateful to everyone who made this experience possible and hopes that this endeavor results in very fruitful cooperation in the near future.
