Tamta Maridashvili is an intern at the Education and Social Policy Research Center at the ISET Policy Institute. She is currently taking part in a project of the Asian Development Bank, “Good Jobs for Inclusive Growth in Central and West Asia”. She is actively engaged in the process of gathering information, writing, and assisting the team in other project-related tasks.

Tamta earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Tbilisi State University and then continued her studies at Lund University, Sweden. In August 2016 she will acquire a Master’s degree in Economic Growth, Innovation and Spatial Dynamics from Lund University. Her internship at ISET will be her first experience in the field of research, and she has aspirations to continue her career in that direction. Doing the internship at ISET is a step forward in her academic career, and the ISET team is also glad to have her as an intern since students that are studying at other universities are the source of new ideas and perspectives.
