In November, ISET Policy Institute conducted a training series for civil society organizations (CSO) and private sector associations (PSA). This course was one part of the “Develop the advocacy capacity of civil society organizations and private sector associations” project, supported by the USAID Economic Governance Program.

The document (Creative Economy in Georgia: Baseline Study of Key Indicators, Characteristics, and Needs) is part of “Creative Twist - Boosting the Cultural and Creative Industries in Georgia,” a project implemented by LEPL Creative Georgia with the financial support of the IFCD.

According to Geostat’s updated estimate, the Q3 2022 growth rate stands at 9.7%. As a result, the real GDP growth estimate for the first nine months of 2022 is 10.2%.

In September 2022, Georgian power plants generated 1,194 mln. kWh of electricity. This represents an 8% increase in the total generation compared to the previous year (in September 2021, the total generation was 1,101 mln. kWh).

In October 2022, the cost of cooking one standard Imeretian khachapuri increased both annually and monthly, ranging between 6.18 GEL (Batumi) and 7.49 GEL (Telavi), with an average cost of 6.57 GEL. The latest average price is 2.6% higher month-on-month (compared to September 2022) and 28.6% higher year-on-year (compared to October 2021).
