On February 13-14, 2025, the ISET Policy Institute hosted a high-level networking and experience-sharing event for leaders of 14 Georgian non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The event was held within the framework of the “Strengthening Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership Countries” (EaP CSO) programme, which aims to enhance collaboration among civil society organizations (CSOs) and support their role in sustainable and inclusive local development.
The EaP CSO programme is commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The initiative focuses on strengthening civil society networks, facilitating dialogue, and fostering cooperation between key stakeholders.
The Tbilisi networking meetings brought together prominent representatives of Georgia’s civil society sector, along with donor organizations and leading NGOs, to discuss shared challenges, exchange experiences, and explore opportunities for joint initiatives.
By hosting this event, the ISET Policy Institute played a key role in fostering dialogue and strengthening connections within Georgia’s civil society sector. The initiative is expected to contribute to the development of a more resilient and interconnected civil society network, enabling organizations to work more effectively toward their goals.
