Tamar Sulukhia, Director of the ISET and ISET Policy Institute introduced to the EaP Road Safety Regional Observatory (EaPRSO), which will act as a catalyst and platform for strengthening country-level crash data systems, as well as the harmonization of crash data among the EaP countries. During the meeting, Tamar emphasized the significance of the regional cooperation within EaP on global and regional issues during these difficult times caused by Russian war in Ukraine and other regional turmoil. The Eastern Partnership Road Safety Observatory (EaP RSO) is an initiative of the EaP countries with the common goal of advancing towards the eradication of road traffic fatal and non-fatal injuries by sharing good practices and interchanging data to help create a solid body of evidence-based practice.

The EaP RSO is supported by the World Bank jointly with the European Commission, with a Technical Secretariat hosted by Georgia and comprised by the ISET Policy Institute and the Eastern Alliance for Safe & Sustainable Transport (EASST).
