The ISET-PI team participated in the Economic Research Mentoring Program (ERMP), organized by the China-Russia Eurasian Studies Centre (CREC). One of the ISET Policy Institute’s research proposals has been selected for the final round of the ERMP research competition.
The CREC was created in 2021 under a partnership between the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST), the New Economic School (NES), and the Moscow School of Management (MSM)-SKOLKOVO, and has become a world-leading research institution focused on understanding the relationship between China, Russia, and Eurasia.
The purpose of the Economic Research Mentoring Program itself is to support economic research that targets challenges in Eurasia and to provide an opportunity for scholars to work with leading international economic experts in refining and developing projects and turning their research results into publishable papers and well-formulated policy recommendations. Within the 2021- 2022 intake, just ten projects from seven countries have been selected.
The first workshop – the presentation of the proposals – was held on the 4th and 5th of December 2021. During the event, the participants received feedback and suggestions for further improvement of their research proposals from an assigned expert.
