Giorgi Jvarsheishvili, a Ph.D. candidate from Friedrich Schiller University Jena visited ISET this Thursday, February 9 to present his research topic on Experimental Analysis of Creativity, Cooperation, and Competition to ISET students and faculty.

On February 8, 2016, ISET hosted a workshop on Private Sector-led Agricultural Extension in Georgia. Organized by ISET in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, this workshop brought together chief executives of selected Georgian agribusinesses as well as representatives of the donor community, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Education and Science to discuss the possibilities for Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) for developing effective agricultural extension services in the country.

ესტონეთსა და საქართველოს ბევრი რამ აკავშირებს. ორივე ქვეყანა საუკუნეების განმავლობაში იყო მოქცეული რუსეთის, გერმანიისა თუ ოსმალეთის/სპარსეთის იმპერიის მარწუხებში. საერთო წარსული განაპირობებს, ალბათ, იმას, რომ საქართველო არის ესტონეთის თანამშრომლობის განვითარების ერთ-ერთი უმთავრესი პრიორიტეტი.

როდესაც წმინდა ნინო, საქართველოს ერთ-ერთი ყველაზე გამორჩეული წმინდანი, მცხეთაში მოდიოდა, ფარავნის ტბის პირას მდებარე პატარა სოფელ ფოკაში შეჩერდა, რათა ვაზის ჯვარი აღემართა. როგორც ჩანს, წმინდა ნინო ზაფხულში მოდიოდა, რადგან დღესაც კი წელიწადში 6 თვე ფოკაში მისვლა თითქმის შეუძლებელია. ცივი და გრძელი ზამთრის დადგომასთან ერთად თოვლი კეტავს სოფელში მისასვლელ ყველა მთავარ გზას.

On December 9-10 Lasha Lanchava from ISET Policy Institute traveled to Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) at Stockholm School of Economics to present his recent experimental work done at ISET and to discuss the possibility of cooperation between SITE and ISET.
