On January 26, ISET hosted an Asian Development Bank (ADB) group with keynote speaker David Margonsztern, the Senior Urban Development Specialist of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). He gave a presentation entitled “The ADB’s Sustainable Transport Initiative (STI): Turning Strategies into realities”. The ADB started this project in 2010 with the priority of developing transport systems that are accessible, safe, environmentally friendly, and affordable in Asia.

ISET-PI researchers Irakli Shalikashvili and Salome Deisadze attended the Data for Sustainable Growth in Kyiv between November 17-18. The conference was organized by KSE (Kyiv School of Economics) and was jointly sponsored by UKaid, USAID, the British Embassy in Kyiv, the Embassy of United States, and the Global Development Network.

Between June 9-10, Mr. Labadze attended the 4th Asia Think Tank Summit in Seoul, an event jointly organized by the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) at the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA), the Korea Development Institute (KDI), the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP), the Civil Society Program (TTCSP) of the University of Pennsylvania, and the Asia Development Bank Institute (ADBI).

თბილისის აბრეშუმის გზის ფორუმზე გამოსვლისას საქართველოს საგარეო საქმეთა მინისტრმა, გიორგი კვირიკაშვილმა ევროპისა და აზიის დამაკავშირებელი სარკინიგზო და საგზაო ინფრასტრუქტურის მომავალზე საუბრისას მოიყვანა ელექტრული წრედის მაგალითი. კვირიკაშვილმა, რომელიც პრესტიჟული კომაროვის სკოლის კურსდამთავრებულია, განმარტა, რომ მიმდევრობითი შეერთება – მარტივი ჯაჭვი – მნიშვნელოვნად არის დამოკიდებული თითოეულ მის შემადგენელ ნაწილზე.
