On December 6-7, ISET’s Pati Mamardashvili traveled to the UK to hold a presentation at the School of Natural and Environmental Sciences at Newcastle University.
On November 15th, the Deputy Head of the Energy and Environment Policy Research Center, Levan Pavlenishvili, participated in the panel of the “Energy Politics in the South Caucasus: Experiences, Visions, and Challenges” conference.
October 30 – November 1, 2018, Pati Mamardashvili traveled to Tashkent to present at the “Social science knowledge and sustainable agricultural development along the Silk Road” conference after being invited to participate as a keynote speaker. She shared the experience of ISET as a reform model for higher education in the post-Soviet world.
At the start of a new academic year, ISET has made a quick return to participating in international academic events. Between September 6 and 8, Professor Norberto Pignatti presented his research on the links between risk attitudes and labor market outcomes (with particular regards to whether individuals end up working informally or not) in the Georgian labor market at the 15th European Association for Comparative Economic Studies Conference, in Warsaw.
Tamta Maridashvili, a Senior Research Fellow at the Social Policy Research Center, attended the Asian Think Tank Development Forum 2018 on August 22-23.
