On Friday, November 10, the National Bank of Georgia held a meeting with second-year students of ISET’s MA Programme. During the meeting, the students were introduced to the structure of the National Bank, its main objectives, and responsibilities.
ISET has earned a reputation of academic excellence, and all those who walked through the institute’s doors as students and left as graduates have either found meaningful employment or gone on to study abroad at some of the world’s best universities. Yet aside from educating its students in the technicalities and intricacies of economics, ISET also endeavors to instill values and standards amongst its students.

ISET continues to challenge its BA students to think about economics and apply knowledge gained during their studies in everyday life. On October 19, 2017, Eric Livny, President of ISET and BA Program Director, conducted a very intriguing discussion on how to start a business in Georgia and what factors one has to initially take into account.
On the 18th of October, ISET Policy Institute together with its partner organizations: Georgian Farmers’ Association (GFA), Civil Development Agency (CiDA), Export Development Association (EDA), and Association Atinati presented a new project: Food and Agriculture SME Support Initiative (FASSI).
