On November 27, ISET hosted Francois Painchaud, the Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Georgia. Mr. Painchaud presented the 2017 October Regional Economic Outlook for the Caucasus and Central Asia (CCA) region, covering the global and regional environment, outlook and policy actions, and policies to help maintain macroeconomic stability and how to secure higher and more inclusive growth.

22 მაისს ISET-ის კვლევითმა ინსტიტუტმა (ISET-PI) უმასპინძლა ფრანსუა პაშუს, საერთაშორისო სავალუტო ფონდის (IMF) წარმომადგენელს საქართველოში, რომელმაც წარმოადგინა IMF-ის 2017 წლის კავკასიისა და ცენტრალური აზიის რეგიონული ეკონომიკური მიმოხილვა. პრეზენტაციაზე გამოყოფილი იყო მსოფლიო და რეგიონული გარემოს სამი ძირითადი სფერო: მიმოხილვა, პოლიტიკის სამოქმედო გეგმა და პრიორიტეტები.

On Thursday, March 21, ISET hosted the Governor of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), Mr. Koba Gvenetadze, who delivered a profoundly informative lecture to the ISET Community. Mr. Gvenetadze covered important aspects of long-term development challenges facing the Georgian economy based on the accumulated experience of past development in the country.
