სასიამოვნო სიურპრიზი დამხვდა თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის (თსუ) ბიზნესისა და ეკონომიკის ფაკულტეტზე მისვლის პირველ დღეს. ერთიან ეროვნულ გამოცდებში მიღებული ქულების წყალობით, ე.წ. „ელიტების ჯგუფში“ მოვხვდი, რომლის პილოტირებაც თსუ-მა საუკეთესო სტუდენტების მოზიდვის მიზნით დაიწყო. ჯგუფში 50 სტუდენტი ვიყავით, უმეტესობა რიგითი ოჯახებიდან. ამიტომ არც ერთ ჩვენგანს არ ჰქონია იმის განცდა, რომ რაიმე „ელიტურ ჯგუფს“ მიეკუთვნებოდა.

Even among those who have access, many do not own basic assets such as refrigerators, motorized transport, or washing machines. However, it is anticipated that over the next several decades, wide-scale poverty alleviation programs, as well as continued economic growth, will lift the incomes of many of the world’s poor.
