ISET’s BA Program in Economics is now accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) until 2025. The program is recognized by UK NARIC at the same level as a UK undergraduate degree. BA students undertaking CIMA courses will also be exempted from taking CIMA exams, thereby earning CIMA qualifications.

დღესდღეობით, ვაჟისათვის უპირატესობის მინიჭებისა და გენდერული ნიშნით სქესის შერჩევის გამო მსოფლიოში 126 მილიონი ქალი ითვლება "გამქრალად". 90-იანი წლებიდან მოყოლებული, მსოფლიოს ზოგიერთ რეგიონში1 ქალთან შედარებით 25%-ით მეტი მამაკაცი დაიბადა (UNFPA). ჩინეთში დაბადებისას სქესთა რაოდენობრივი თანაფარდობის (SRB) მაჩვენებელი 1987 წელს 107-ი იყო, 2005 წელს კი 120-ს გაუტოლდა [ბიოლოგიური ნორმა 105 ვაჟია 100 გოგონაზე] (Li, 2007). ინდოეთში, 1982-1984 წლებში SRB 109-ის ნიშნულზე ფიქსირდებოდა, 2003-2005 წლებში კი 113.6-მდე გაიზარდა (Kulkarni, 2007). კორეის რესპუბლიკაში, 1985 წელს დაბადებისას სქესთა რაოდენობრივი თანაფარდობა 109 იყო, 1994 წელს მაჩვენებელმა 115-ს მიაღწია (KNSO, 2004), თუმცა მოგვიანებით ბიოლოგიურ ნორმას დაუბრუნდა.

The biennial Tbilisi Silk Road Forum was held from October 22-23, an event of the utmost importance for Georgia’s economic development. With over 2,000 people in attendance, the Forum gathered together policymakers, businesses, community leaders, and academics to discuss trade and connectivity, as well as examine the challenges facing countries along the New Silk Road.

A total of 162 of Georgia’s top-scoring students on the country’s national NAEC exam have chosen to study at ISET, constituting the third intake of first-year students for the institute’s BA program. The number of students set to graduate in 2023 is clearly indicative of the prestige and popularity of ISET degrees, and the figure has doubled since the second generation of BA students began their studies in 2018.

On May 3, the US-based World Resource Initiative (WRI) published ‘How to Enable Electric Bus Adoption In Cities Worldwide’, which examines the process of adopting e-buses in sixteen case study cities. Tbilisi City Hall took the first couple of steps necessary to introduce the first electric bus in 2018 and is expected to scale up the number to 200 from 2020.
