ISET’s Irakli ‘Rati’ Kochlamazashvili, the deputy head of the Agricultural Policy Research Center, has been awarded the prestigious MASHAV Scholarship to attend the “Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics – Changes in the Era of Globalization” program conducted by the International School of Agricultural Sciences of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Robert H. Smith, Faculty of Agriculture, Food & Environment.

On November 26, 2018, the third Phase of Reformeter started with an assessment of the implementation of the Agricultural Development Strategy. The Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Giorgi Khanishvili, and other employees of the Ministry, as well as representatives of NGOs and international organizations, took part in the event.

2018 წლის 15 ნოემბერს, აგრარული პოლიტიკის კვლევითმა ცენტრმა დაინტერესებულ მხარეებს „ორგანული თხილის წარმოების ღირებულებათა ჯაჭვის კერძო წარმომადგენლების კვლევა“ წარუდგინა. ღონისძიების ორგანიზატორები იყვნენ: HEKS-EPER South Caucasus, ISET-ის კვლევითი ინსტიტუტი (ISET-PI), და შვედური ჰოლდინგი PAKKA AG.

2019 წლის სახელმწიფო ბიუჯეტი მოსმენებს გადის პარლამენტში და წლის ბოლომდე უნდა დამტკიცდეს. გადამუშავებული ვარიანტის მიხედვით, სახელმწიფო ბიუჯეტი დაახლოებით 13 მილიარდი ლარი იქნება. აქედან გარემოს დაცვისა და სოფლის მეურნეობის სამინისტროზე მოდის 332 მილიონი ლარი (მთელი ბიუჯეტის 2.4%), უშუალოდ სოფლის მეურნეობის მიმართულებით კი სახელმწიფო დაახლოებით 285 მილიონ ლარს დახარჯავს, დანარჩენი 47 მლნ. ლარი გარემოს დაცვის მიმართულებას მოხმარდება.

On Thursday, November 15, the Agricultural Policy Research Center (APRC) presented the results of its “Study on Private Service Providers in Organic Hazelnut Value Chain in Georgia” to stakeholders. The event was organized by HEKS-EPER South Caucasus, the ISET Policy Institute (ISET-PI), and PAKKA AG, a Swiss holding.
