ყოველ ზამთარს ბუნებრივი აირი ენერგეტიკული პოლიტიკის ის საკითხია, რომელიც აქტიურად განიხილება ტელევიზიასა და პროფესიულ წრეებში. პოლიტიკური მსჯელობა ხშირად ეხება ფასებსა და მიწოდების პირობებს. ასეთი აქტიური განხილვის მთავარი მიზეზი ენერგეტიკული უსაფრთხოებაა. რა არის ენერგეტიკული უსაფრთოება? ენერგეტიკის საერთაშორისო სააგენტო მას ასე განმარტავს: „ენერგიის წყაროების უწყვეტი მიწოდება ხელმისაწვდომ ფასად“.

On January 27, ISET students delivered yet another policy seminar. A presentation entitled “The Quality of Secondary Education” was delivered by Mariam Chachkhiani, Lika Goderdzishvili, Dika Khidesheli, and Tevos Matevosyan under the supervision of a senior research fellow in the Education and Social Policy Center at ISET-PI, Zurab Abramishvili.

On January 26, 2017, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) conducted its 13th Consultative Board Meeting, attended by the board members, Commission Chairs, ambassadors, bankers, and senior representatives of Georgian businesses. The Georgian government was represented by Mr. Giorgi Gakharia, the Minister of the Economy and Sustainable Development, and his deputy, Ms. Keti Bochorishvili.

23 დეკემბერს, ISET-ის კვლევითი ინსტიტუტის (ISET-PI) მკვლევარმა, გიგლა მიქაუტაძემ მონაწილეობა მიიღო EPAC-ის წევრებისთვის ორგანიზებულ შეხვედრაში, სადაც განიხილეს, რამდენად საჭიროა ქვეყანაში ანტიდემპინგური კანონის შემოღება. შეხვედრის ორგანიზატორი იყო საქართველოს ადვოკატები დამოუკიდებელი პროფესიისთვის, USAID-ის პროექტი „მმართველობა განვითარებისთვის“ (G4G) და თავისუფალ ინდივიდთა საზოგადოება.

On December 13-16, APRC's Davit Zhorzholiani participated in an Inter-Alliance Workshop in Yerevan organized by Oxfam in the South Caucasus. Approximately 50 people from Georgia, Armenia, Vietnam, Tajikistan, and Lebanon attended the workshop, which was rich with intensive training, presentations, panel discussions, group works, and more.
