თურქეთში გატარებული ორკვირიანი შვებულებიდან სახლში ვბრუნდებოდით. რა ვიცოდით, რომ ვალეს (ახალციხის მახლობლად) საზღვარზე საშინელი სიურპრიზი გველოდა. ვალეში შუაღამისკენ ჩავედით, 2017 წლის 26 აგვისტოს. ეფექტური პროცედურა, მოსალოდნელ 2-3 წუთზე გაცილებით დიდხანს გაგრძელდა.

ISET kicked off its 2017-2018 school year this Monday, September 4 with an orientation session for incoming students. ISET faculty, staff, and researchers warmly greeted the students and gave them a sense of what they can expect out of their next two years of study. Eric Livny, President of ISET and ISET-PI welcomed new students highlighting critical skills and knowledge they should be striving to acquire.

On July 7-8, 2017 ISET hosted the 10th edition of the Workshop on the Economics of Advertising and Marketing, supported by the Labex MME-DII research project of the University of Cergy-Pontoise.

So far, 2017 has proved to be an exceptional year for ISET and its community. The school released its 10th cohort of well-educated and professional economists, with 32 students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia joining the small but very strong community of ISETers.

2011 წელს ქუთაისში მცხოვრებმა ქალბატონმა მიკროსაფინანსო ორგანიზაციიდან უძრავი ქონებით უზრუნველყოფილი სესხი აიღო 1500 აშშ დოლარის ოდენობით და მომდევნო ექვსი თვის განმავლობაში თვეში 75 აშშ დოლარი უნდა გადაეხადა პროცენტში. სესხის აღების მიზეზი შვილის მკურნალობის ხარჯების დაფარვა იყო. თუმცა ეკონომიკური სირთულეების გამო მან ვერ შეძლო ყოველთვიური შენატანის დროულად გადახდა და სესხის ვადა 10 თვემდე გაახანგრძლივა, მაგრამ კვლავ ვერ შეძლო ამ თანხის დაფარვა და რამდენჯერმე დაჯარიმდა.
