Distinguished ISET graduate and recent recipient of a Doctorate of Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Salome Baslandze has recently been awarded a tenure track professorship at the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance (EIEF) in Rome, Italy. There she will be teaching classes and continuing her research on growth, technological change, firm dynamics, and the dynamics of innovation.

რატი, ლაშა და ირაკლი საქართველოს ტექნიკური უნივერსიტეტის (ე.წ. „გეპეის“) ინჟინერიის ფაკულტეტის პირველი კურსის სტუდენტები არიან, რაც ფრიად უცნაურია. 22-23 წლის ასაკში სამივე ცოცხალია, თუმცა არასდროს დასწრებიან ლექციებს და არც გამოცდები ჩაუბარებიათ. ეს მათთვის მესამე საგანმანათლებლო ხარისხი იქნება, მიუხედავად იმისა, რომ არც ერთი მათგანი არ აპირებს სწავლის დამთავრებას.

On October 9, Agricultural Policy Research Center organized an excursion to Phoka Nunnery of St. Nino, in the Javakheti region of Georgia. The Javakheti highland is a mountainous terrain at an altitude of 2000 m above sea level and home to the ominous Abul Mountain (3301 m) which can be seen from every side. Students from both ISET and researchers ISET-PI joined the excursion.

ექვსი ერის ჩემპიონატი არის ყოველწლიური ტურნირი რაგბიში, რომელშიც ევროპული ერების ექსკლუზიური კლუბი მონაწილეობს: ინგლისი, საფრანგეთი, ირლანდია, იტალია, შოტლანდია და უელსი. ექვსი ერის ჩემპიონატი ითვლება ჩრდილოეთ ნახევარსფეროს „ელიტურ“ რაგბის ტურნირად, რომელსაც შეესაბამება მეორე საერთაშორისო „ელიტური“ ტურნირი, რომელსაც მარტივად რაგბის ჩემპიონატს ეძახიან.

On August 16-22, 2015 the head of ISET-PI's Agricultural Policy Research Center (APRC), Pati Mamardashvili participated in a study tour in Switzerland, organized by the Market Opportunities for Livelihood Improvement in Kakheti (MOLI) project. Local government and private sector representatives from Kakheti were invited on the tour.
