This project implements Hierarchical Linear Modeling and identifies determinant factors for mathematics test results in Georgia.
It is a well-known fact that educational achievements depend on a student’s family background, the quality of teachers, and the governance of the school. In this study, researchers exploited four different survey data (9th-grade students, parents, teachers, and principals surveys in 2015) and students’ mathematics test results. By using Hierarchical Linear Modeling, key influencing factors were identified and studied that have statistically significant impacts on educational outcomes.
