On March 1, the ISET Policy Institute and USAID Economic Governance Program hosted a roundtable discussion on "Labor Market Challenges and Prospects" in Batumi.

At the event, Saorsa and the Center for Institutional and Capacity Development presented a policy document developed in cooperation with the ISET Policy Institute, which discusses the challenges related to youth employment in Georgia on the example of the Adjara region, as well as the current situation and the challenges and prospects in the labor market. The authors also reviewed the international experience, based on which they presented relevant recommendations to policymakers.

The policy document "Labor Market Challenges and Prospects" was developed as part of the USAID Economic Governance Program's Advocacy Capacity Building for Civil Society Organizations and Private Sector Associations grant activity, in collaboration with SAORSA and the Center for Institutional and Capacity Development (ICDC) and with the support of the ISET Research Institute.
