ADB-Asian Think Tank Development Forum
Wednesday, 16 September, 2015

ISET Policy Institute is the only member think tank of Asian Think Tanks Network from Georgia. The network involves cooperation among key think tanks in Asia and the Pacific to share knowledge on development experiences and policy lessons. Its members are Asian think tanks working on sustainable development and inclusive growth. The annual ADB-Asian Think Tank Development Forum as its flagship knowledge sharing event showcases the research findings done by the members.

In November 2014 Eric Livny, president of ISET-PI, attended the first forum held in Seoul that discussed global and regional policy developments, country-specific experiences with policy issues, innovation, and inclusion. This year, Lasha Labadze, Deputy Director of ISET-PI traveled to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to participate in the second part of the forum.

The 2015 ADB-Asian Think Tank Development Forum 2015 was held at the Pullman Putrajaya Hotel, Putrajaya in Malaysia on 8-9 September 2015. This year’s theme was “Advancing Innovation and Inclusion for a Prosperous Asia” aimed at deepening knowledge exchanges among Asian think tanks and development issues their countries confront. The Forum discussed sub-topics on the regional economic outlook, global value chains, regional economic cooperation, middle-income transition, social inclusion, and building capacities of Asian think tanks. ADB hosted the event this year with the Malaysian Institute for Economic Research.
