ISET Graduation Ceremony 2015
Monday, 26 October, 2015

After two years of joy, stress, tears, and an inhuman amount of mathematical models, 34 students were awarded master’s degrees from ISET during a ceremony at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

The ceremony was attended by a literal “who’s who” list of Georgian politics and business including: Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mamuka Khazaradze, chairman of TBC Bank; Nodar Khaduri, Minister of Finance; Eva Gibson Smedberg, director of SIDA; Vladimer Papava, rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. In addition to our distinguished guests, various ISET students were distinguished for their outstanding work:

  • Archil Dvalishvili: Best Master’s Thesis
  • Archil Dvalishvili: & Nino Tedoradze: Best Teaching Assistant
  • Mariam Gavasheli & Ivlita Jibuti: Best Literature Critique
  • Artak Voskanyan: Best Entrepreneur
  • Lasha Arevadze: Outstanding Intellectual Contribution
  • Irakli Shalikashvili: Recognition of Leadership

The entire ISET community is incredibly proud of our new family members, and want to congratulate them for their exceptional accomplishments, and wish them luck at the beginning of what we know will be long and impactful careers in Georgia and across the globe.
