Laura Manukyan from Yerevan, Armenia, recently joined the ISET-PI team as a research assistant at ISET-PI’s Social Policy Research Center (SPRC).

ISET graduates have once again proved their versatility by passing the first level of the Chartered Financial Analyst Program.

Shakespeare is often quoted as having said that death and tax are the only two certainties in life; many people of the modern world would perhaps agree that he would have been at liberty to add tax evasion to the list.

“You need to think carefully before you jump into this deep sea,” said Professor Daniel Levy at the very beginning of a presentation entitled “Why can a Ph.D. be bad for you?”. While this statement sounded frightening to those who were planning to pursue a Ph.D. or other further studies, it appeared to be more bemusing for others who were not considering a career in academia.

We are proud to announce that Giorgi Bregadze has been promoted to the post of Head of the Research and Planning Department of the Georgian National Tourism Administration. He is now leading a team of three researchers that includes two ISET graduates. Over the past few years, three ISETers had their first work experience under his supervision and then went on to enjoy successful careers in various government organizations.
