ISET-ის კვლევითმა ინსტიტუტმა (ISET-PI) დაიწყო „გადახდისუუნარობის საქმის წარმოების შესახებ“ კანონპროექტის შერჩეულ საკითხებზე რეგულირების ზეგავლენის შეფასების (RIA) მომზადება. პროექტში ISET-PI-ის პარტნიორია გერმანული საკონსულტაციო ჯგუფი Berlin Economists.

2013 წელს საქართველოს მეწარმეთა შესახებ მოქმედი კანონის გაუმჯობესების მიზნით ჩატარებული საჯარო კონსულტაციების შემდეგ შეიქმნა სამუშაო ჯგუფი, რომელმაც შეიმუშავა საქართველოს მეწარმეთა შესახებ ახალი კანონი („კანონპროექტი“).

On the 18th of October, ISET Policy Institute together with its partner organizations: Georgian Farmers’ Association (GFA), Civil Development Agency (CiDA), Export Development Association (EDA), and Association Atinati presented a new project: Food and Agriculture SME Support Initiative (FASSI).

The VET reform assessment was conducted on October 4, 2017. According to the Government Survey, 80% of the 2013-2017 Action Plan, and 50% of the entire reform, which is scheduled to last until 2020, have been implemented. The survey also showed how the reform, including the launch of the dual education system, which took off in 2013 revamped the whole structure of the vocational education system.

On October 10, 2017, Professor Hans Wiesmeth challenged ISET BA students to think about possible solutions to environmental issues, more specifically, how the country can deal with beverage packaging, which is a global environmental issue, with 1 billion plastic bottles produced each day (more than ten thousand every second). Only about 10% of these bottles are currently recovered and recycled.
