The ISET Policy Institute collaborated with the Association of Young Professionals in the Energy Sector of Georgia (AYPEG) on a training course targeting junior staff of the newly created Analytical Department within the Ministry of Energy of Georgia, Electricity Sector Commercial Operator (ESCO), and Georgian State Electro system (GSE). A total of 17 participants from these three organizations participated in the course.

On February 15, 2013, Professor Hans Wiesmeth, vice-president of the Saxon Academy of Sciences, delivered a presentation titled “Integrated Environmental Policies: Supporting the Sustainable Development of Georgia” to the academic community at the National Science Academy of Georgia. The event was initiated and supported by ISET.

At least on paper, Georgia has all it takes to be a successful agricultural producer: a favorable tax environment, mild climate, long growing season, inexpensive labor force, and abundant water resources.

საქართველოს ეროვნული კონკურენტუნარიანობის კვლევის ანგარიში მიზნად ისახავს, კონკურენტუნარიანობის საკითხების ღრმა და ყოვლისმომცველი კვლევის საფუძველზე შეავსოს მსოფლიო ეკონომიკური ფორუმის მსოფლიო კონკურენტუნარიანობის ანგარიში. კერძოდ, ის შეისწავლის საქართველოს პოტენციალს, გამოიყენოს მისი გეოგრაფიული მდებარეობა და ბიზნეს-გარემო, რათა მოირგოს კავკასიის რეგიონის ეკონომიკური ჰაბის როლი.

კვლევის მიზანი საქართველოში არაფორმალური დასაქმების პარადოქსის ახსნაა. პროექტი შრომის ბაზრის კვლევით ინსტიტუტთან (IZA) პარტნიორობით ხორციელდება და საქართველოში ფორმალურ და არაფორმალურ შრომის ბაზრებს შორის კავშირების კვლევას ისახავს მიზნად.
