In the frames of the memorandum of understanding between ISET Policy Institute and the Business Association of Georgia (BAG), ISET-PI offered a compressed four-day training to the staff of the association. Senior researchers of the policy institute, Maya Grigolia, and Nino Doghonadze conducted the training in macroeconomics 101.

On Monday, May 4th, Yaroslava Babych, Academic Director of ISET Policy Institute, participated in a conference “Gender Biased Sex Selection in Georgia: Context, Evidence, Implications and Proposed Solutions” jointly organized by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the World Bank that took place in Tbilisi, Georgia.

ამჟამად ფერმერობა საქართველოში „იძულებითი საქმიანობაა“ – ქართველ „ფერმერთა“ დიდი უმრავლესობა პროფესიული თვალსაზრისით არც არის ფერმერი. ესენი არიან ადამიანები, რომლებიც ცდილობენ, იარსებონ სასოფლო-სამეურნეო პროდუქციის წარმოებით. საქართველოს რეგიონებში მოგზაურობისას მაშინვე შეამჩნევთ, რომ ამ იძულებითი საქმიანობით ძირითადად ასაკოვანი თაობაა დაკავებული.
