Tamta Maridashvili is an intern at the Education and Social Policy Research Center at the ISET Policy Institute. She is currently taking part in a project of the Asian Development Bank, “Good Jobs for Inclusive Growth in Central and West Asia”. She is actively engaged in the process of gathering information, writing, and assisting the team in other project-related tasks.

საცალო საკვების ფასები წინა თვესთან (მაისის ბოლო კვირასთან) შედარებით 7.6%-ით, წინა წელთან (2015 წლის მაისთან) შედარებით კი 10.1%-ით დაეცა. ფასები ყველაზე მეტად დაეცა შემდეგი პროდუქტებისთვის: პომიდორი (-65.5%), კიტრი (-63.3%), ბადრიჯანი (-33.7%). მხოლოდ რამდენიმე პროდუქტის ფასი გაიზარდა. ყველაზე მეტად გაიზარდა კომბოსტოს (12.8%), ჩაის (7.3%) და ბრინჯის (7.2%) ფასები.

On June 15, 2016, ISET held a press conference to discuss recent economic indicators of Georgia. In the second quarter of 2016, the two most important economic barometers of consumer and business sentiment in Georgia – the Business Confidence Index (BCI) and the Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) continued to steadily improve.

On June 3 2016, a Round Table Discussion of Tea Cooperatives was held in Kutaisi. This was the third event in a series of dialogues about agriculture and rural development in Georgia organized by ISET Policy Institute (ISET-PI) in partnership with CARE International, the Regional Development Association and the Georgian Farmers Association, with support from the European Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development (ENPARD).
