The ISET Policy Institute has once again demonstrated its relevance and focus on regional economic research with the publication of a research paper in the 117th issue of the Caucasus Analytical Digest (CAD), a bimonthly online magazine. The Institute’s article, 'International Diversification of Agricultural Trade of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia', was written by Phatima Mamardashvili, Salome Gelashvili, Ia Katsia, and Salome Deisadze and examined the agricultural trade relations of the three South Caucasus countries from 2002-2018.

საქართველოში ტრადიციული რთველი 26 აგვისტოს დაიწყო. მთავრობამ გადაწყვიტა, მწარმოებლებს ყურძნის რეალიზებაში დაეხმაროს, რაც ყურძნის მოსავლის სუბსიდირებას გულისხმობს. სუბსიდირების რაოდენობამ რქაწითელის ან კახური მწვანეს შემთხვევაში, 1 კგ-ზე 0.8 ლარიდან 0.3 ლარი შეადგინა. აუცილებლობის შემთხვევაში, მთავრობა ყურძნის რეალიზაციის პროცესშიც ჩაერთვება. ღვინის სექტორის მხარდაჭერა ანტიკრიზისული გეგმის ნაწილია და მიზნად ისახავს COVID-19-ით გამოწვეული ეკონომიკური კრიზისის დაძლევას.

საქართველოს სტატისტიკის ეროვნულმა სამსახურმა (საქსტატი) ახლახან გამოაქვეყნა 2020 წლის მეორე კვარტლის ეკონომიკური მიმოხილვა. გამოცემის თანახმად, მეორე კვარტალში, 2019 წლის იმავე პერიოდთან შედარებით, სოფლის მეურნეობის სექტორში წარმოება 4.7%-ით გაიზარდა, სოფლის მეურნეობის წილმა კი ქვეყნის მშპ-ის 10.2% შეადგინა.
