On November 22, the President of ISET and ISET-PI, Mr. Eric Livny gave an insightful presentation to the very first cohort of ISET BA Program students, regarding the importance and perks of coordination.

On October 3, 2017, ISET Policy Institute Executive Director Lasha Labadze made a presentation at the conference "Modern Educational Programs to Support Agribusiness Development,” organized by East European University within the International Scientific Festival, planned by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

“You need to think carefully before you jump into this deep sea,” said Professor Daniel Levy at the very beginning of a presentation entitled “Why can a Ph.D. be bad for you?”. While this statement sounded frightening to those who were planning to pursue a Ph.D. or other further studies, it appeared to be more bemusing for others who were not considering a career in academia.

On September 7, ISET hosted the president and executive chairman of the Ayn Rand Institute, Dr. Yaron Brook, for a presentation. The topic of the presentation was Free Speech and The Battle for Western Culture. During the presentation, Dr. Brook explained why and in what ways free speech is under attack and why it is important to defend this fundamental right.

7 ივნისს, საქართველოში ვიზიტის ფარგლებში, ბატონი ენტონი დე ლანოიმ, საერთაშორისო სავალუტო ფონდის (IMF) აღმასრულებელმა დირექტორმა, რომელიც 15 სხვა ქვეყანასთან ერთად წარმოადგენს საქართველოს IMF-ის დირექტორთა საბჭოში, ISET-ის მკვლევრების, სტუდენტების, მენეჯერებისა და საქართველოს ბანკის წარმომადგენლებთან შეხვედრისას ისაუბრა IMF-სა და მის თანამშრომლობაზე საქართველოსთან.
