Under ISET affiliation Luc Leruth, the Lead Economist in the Policy Institute’s Governance and Social Policy Research Center, has recently been appointed a co-editor of The Open-Access, Open-Assessment Journal Economics. As a new form of the academic journal, the publication incorporates a large research community with an open and innovative peer review process; where critically the research is seen as a cooperative enterprise between authors, editors, referees, and readers.

ISET is proud to announce its most recent joint research presentation into our impact assessment on domestic work and its influences on female economic empowerment in Georgia. Supported and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the Austrian Development Cooperation, and hosted by UN Women, the presentation aimed to highlight women’s labor rights and access to reasonable work.

შრომის საერთაშორისო ორგანიზაციის (ILO) კონვენცია ოჯახში დასაქმებულების შესახებ (189) მიზნად ისახავს, ყველასათვის ღირსეული შრომის უზრუნველყოფასა და ოჯახში დასაქმებულთა ფუნდამენტური უფლებების დაცვას. ოჯახში დასაქმებულთა წვლილი მნიშვნელოვანია ეკონომიკაში, რადგან ისინი კრიტიკული მნიშვნელობის სერვისებს სთავაზობენ შინამეურნეობებს, საშუალებას აძლევენ მათ წევრებს, სახლის გარეთ იმუშაონ, ჩაერთონ როგორც შრომის ბაზარზე, ასევე საგანმანათლებლო და სოციალურ აქტივობებში.

საქართველომ რეგულირების ზეგავლენის შეფასების (RIA) სამართლებრივი რეგულირება მოახდინა საქართველოს მთავრობის 2020 წლის 17 იანვრის №35 დადგენილებით („რეგულირების ზეგავლენის შეფასების მეთოდოლოგიის დამტკიცების შესახებ“). დადგენილების მიღება ემსახურება ნორმატიული აქტების შესახებ ორგანული კანონში 2019 წ. 29 მაისს შესული #4607 ცვლილების განხორციელებას, რომელიც ქვეყანაში ხელს უწყობს ფაქტებზე დაფუძნებულ, ჩართულობით გადაწყვეტილების მიღების პროცესს.

ISET’s Policy Institute is proud to announce the unveiling of its Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) Manual. The ISET Director, Tamar Sulukhia, introduced a presentation of the work, where she thanked governmental and donor initiatives alongside USAID for all the assistance provided during the process.
