2013 წელს საქართველოს მთავრობამ დაამტკიცა ახალი კანონი სასოფლო-სამეურნეო კოოპერატივების შესახებ. ამ კანონის მთავარი მიზანი იყო სასოფლო-სამეურნეო კოოპერატივების გაძლიერება და ამგვარად ქვეყანაში სოფლის მეურნეობისა და სოფლის განვითარებისთვის ხელის შეწყობა. მას შემდეგ სასოფლო-სამეურნეო კოოპერატივები სოკოებივით მომრავლდა; უკვე 13000 ფერმერია დარეგისტრირებული 1500 კოოპერატივში. კოოპერატივების გასაძლიერებლად, დონორები, ევროკავშირის მეთაურობით, კოოპერატივებსა და მათ წევრებს ფინანსურ მხარდაჭერას უწევენ, ასევე, უტარებენ ტრენინგებს და უწევენ საკონსულტაციო მომსახურებას.

ISET is implementing a new training program, "Economics, Finance, and Banking," with VTB Bank. The aim of the program is to introduce VTB Bank's employees to the major principles of economics, finance, and banking.

On December 13-16, APRC's Davit Zhorzholiani participated in an Inter-Alliance Workshop in Yerevan organized by Oxfam in the South Caucasus. Approximately 50 people from Georgia, Armenia, Vietnam, Tajikistan, and Lebanon attended the workshop, which was rich with intensive training, presentations, panel discussions, group works, and more.

ISET Policy Institute together with Japan Tobacco International (JTI) Georgia offers free of charge training program "Leaders in Development". The program is designed for anybody who is involved in or is affected by, public policy decisions: government analysts and decision-makers, parliament staffers, private sector executives, civil society activists, as well as development professionals working in international organizations.
