In Avchala, in the middle of nowhere, you might be surprised to find the busy “Craftsmen’s City” or “Khelosnebis Kalaki” as it is called in Georgian. It is built on a 4-ha plot where there used to be a large carpet manufacturing plant in Soviet times, which vanished with the Soviet Union and turned into a concrete carcass surrounded by a swamp.
The objective of the research is to provide infrastructural view of AKIS in Georgia by describing its main actors, linkages between them and coordination mechanisms in place. The research also looks at the assets and gaps of existing system and provides recommendations for further development of the system.
ISET Policy Institute is seeking a Projects Officer who will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of ISET Policy Institute's activities.
Grant Writer works closely with the ISET team to develop project concepts, elaborate all required elements, and write multiple drafts of the grant applications for review and revision. Work includes all elements of grant applications and close coordination with team members.
