The ISET Policy Institute participated in the 2024 FREE Network Retreat, held in Chisinau, Moldova, from September 11-13. The retreat brought together both researchers and administrative staff from member institutions of the Forum for Research on Eastern Europe and Emerging Economies (FREE Network) for strategic discussions on economic research, capacity building, and communication practices. Representatives from leading research institutes across Sweden, Belarus, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine, and Georgia shared updates, explored new collaborations, and refined policy outreach strategies.

As a member of the FREE Network, the ISET Policy Institute benefits from an international platform to stimulate and contribute to the global debate on economic development and to intensify interactions between researchers, policy-makers, and business representatives across the world. By being part of this prestigious network, ISET strengthens its research capabilities and expands its influence on policy development in Georgia and beyond, contributing to solutions that address critical economic challenges.
