ISET Alumnus Granted Research Scholarship at National Science Foundation

Tsotne Marghia, of the Class 2018, decided to apply for an MA research scholarship at the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, following in the footsteps of another ISET student last year. Tsotne succeeded in being granted the scholarship, allowing him to purchase the necessary books and papers, as well as having the opportunity to attend conferences abroad.

Student Policy Seminar Series: Waste Management REgulations, Problems and Treatments

This time, Giorgi Ninua, Mariam Tsulukidze, Mariam Lobjanidze, and Yana Hovhannisyan presented their research results under the supervision of Norberto Pignatti, a member of ISET’s resident faculty and the head of the Energy and Environment Policy Research Center at the ISET Policy Institute.

This time, Davit Hovhannisyan and Anahit Sargsyan – under the supervision of Karine Torosyan, a member of the resident faculty of ISET – led the presentation with a paper entitled “Labor Migration from Armenia and Georgia: Why Russia?”.

Student Policy Seminar Series: Impacts of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad on Poti Sea Port

On November 22, ISET started a policy seminar series provided by the second-year students of ISET’s MA program. The first presentation was delivered by Tamari Tetvadze & Gunash Kamzaevi, under the supervision of Eric Livny, president of ISET and ISET-PI, and Giorgi Mzhavanadze, Senior Researcher at the Macroeconomic Policy Research Center(MPRC) of ISET-PI.
