On 29 March, ISET Policy Institute’s researchers conducted training under the auspices of a USAID project – Develop Advocacy Capacity of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Private Sector Associations (PSAs) – as supported by the USAID Economic Security Program and the USAID Economic Governance Program.
On 17 December 2021, the parliament of Georgia approved the state budget for 2022, with allocations of around 19.2 billion GEL. From which the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture (MEPA) will receive 593.1 million (3.1% of the total budget allocation).
Today is 24 March, and it’s been snowing heavily in Tsavkisi for the past few days. My yard and street are covered by about a full meter of snow. Cars are stuck on the snow-covered streets and our small community is physically cut off from the rest of the world. Locals can’t remember such a snowstorm, especially in March.
28 March 2022 marks the successful completion of ISET’s green economy training for journalists and students. We are extremely grateful to the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for financially supporting the initiative.
A massive decline in CCI. The decline in consumer confidence continues. However, the magnitude in February is quite high—the index decreased by 10.1 index points and fell to -42.4, the all-time low seen since the pandemic hit.
