
No major shifts in overall May CCI. The Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) decreased marginally from -24 in April to -24.1 in May, largely maintaining the new level it had reached in April. The two sub-indices of the CCI each moved in opposite directions: the Present Situation Index declined by 1 index point, while the Expectations Index rose by 0.6 points.

Consumer confidence on the rise. The CCI has increased by 4.8 index points, from -28.8 in March to -24 in April.

ISET Policy Institute hosted a roundtable discussion on March 31 at Rooms Hotel Tbilisi, where participants discussed the impact of public spending on agriculture in relation to the value and destination of agricultural exports, particularly to the European Union (EU).

Decline in the CCI. Consumer confidence decreased by 5.9 index points – from -28.1 in January to -34 in February.
