ISET continued its Distinguished Professors Lecture Series, which it runs in cooperation with Tbilisi State University, on Thursday, January 29th. In this installment of the series, ISET hosted Professor Ramaz Kurdadze, Head of the Institute of the Georgian Language at Faculty of Humanities and Member of the Academic Board of Tbilisi State University.
On January 22, Dr. David Ubilava, from the University of Sydney, led a seminar on the subject of his recent paper, "Rises and Falls in Primary Commodity Prices: Blame it on ENSO or Leave Them, Kids, Alone?"
On November 20, 2014, Dr. Sergei Chobanyan professor of ISET and Georgian Technical University, Senior Scientist at the Niko Muskhelishvili Institute of Computational Mathematics of Georgian Technical University, held a presentation “On the Volume Calendar Planning Problem” at the ISET Conference Hall.
On November 14, 2014 ISET hosted the conference organized by CASE (Center for Social and Economic Research, Warsaw). The conference summarized the results of the research project “Transfer of Know-How for Small and Mid-Size Businesses in Georgia”.
On November 4, ISET hosted Dr. Tariel Sikharulidze, visiting professor of ESSEC Business School Paris Singapore, Associate Professor of Ilia State University, and Black Sea University, who presented a topic titled Mediation as an Alternative Tool of Conflict Resolution.
