ISET Library becomes official depository library for Asian Development Bank

Since the foundation of the ISET, it has had a strong relationship with the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The ADB and ISET have further strengthened their relationship by signing a Memorandum of Agreement, specifically between the ADB and the ISET Library, under the ADB's Depository Library Program.

On November 13, the Agricultural and Rural Policy Research Center (APRC) of the ISET Policy Institute conducted a second stakeholder working meeting under the auspices of a project entitled “Information quality standards for the participants and beneficiaries of the Agricultural Knowledge and Information System (AKIS)”.

ISET Policy Institute’s team starts RIA training course with USAID

Starting from October 26, the ISET Policy Institute team, in cooperation with the USAID Economic Governance Program, started an online training course in Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) for public servants. The aim of the training is to provide participants from the selected institutions a clear understanding of the purpose of RIA, its structure and implementation, and how it works within the context of Georgian. The course will also develop and strengthen the participants’ technical skills that are necessary to conduct standard RIAs in accordance with the RIA methodology approved by the Government of Georgia in January 2020. The training is organized around specific RIA steps, included practical group activities every week, and will last for a total of seven weeks.

ISET Policy Institute’s research paper published by Caucasus Analytical Digest

The ISET Policy Institute has once again demonstrated its relevance and focus on regional economic research with the publication of a research paper in the 117th issue of the Caucasus Analytical Digest (CAD), a bimonthly online magazine. The Institute’s article, 'International Diversification of Agricultural Trade of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia', was written by Phatima Mamardashvili, Salome Gelashvili, Ia Katsia, and Salome Deisadze and examined the agricultural trade relations of the three South Caucasus countries from 2002-2018.
