On 15 June, ISET Policy Institute, with support from the Swedish Embassy, met representatives from local non-governmental and international organizations, and from the Telavi public and private sector, in order to introduce its activities and key products.

During the Russia-Ukraine the EU has become a clear example of how substantial reliance on a single country to satisfy energy needs can threaten nations’ economic development, and how challenging the task of achieving energy security is while substantially depending on a single country in key energy products.

On 6 June, a Memorandum of Understanding between ISET’s Policy Institute and the SME Development Association (SMEDA) was enacted. The document was signed by Tamar Sulukhia, the ISET and ISET Policy Institute Director, and Grigol Paikidze, Executive Director of SMEDA.

The study was to determine an optimal minimum wage for workers in Georgia, and resulted in a recommended range of 250-350GEL per month, albeit referencing numerous factors that need to be considered.

On 23 May ISET Policy Institute, in partnership with Policy and Management Consulting Group (PMCG), presented a summary of the findings of the Value Chain Analytics (VCA) project to the public. The event brought together public and private sector stakeholders along with representatives of international organizations.
