On November 28, ISET Policy Institute held a free Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) basic course for local government officials. RIA is one of the best mechanisms for evidence-based policy development, and the preparation of it became mandatory for a number of normative acts initiated by the government since 2020.

Various local government organizations participated in the training, which aimed to develop the capacity of local authorities and promote the development of effective regional policies. The ISET Policy Institute shared its experiences in using RIA as an evidence-based policy evaluation tool to help local governments make evidence-based policy decisions and maximize the benefits of policies.
