Help Desk Student Assistant

The International School of Economics at TSU (ISET, www.iset.ge; www.iset-pi.ge;) is looking for a Help Desk Student Assistant to join our IT team.

Help Desk Student Assistant will be on the front lines of ISET IT and Library systems support. IT Help Desk will be to troubleshoot and resolve endpoint issues remotely and assist with the day-to-day operations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day technical support for end-users of desktop applications, telephones, handheld email devices, printers, amplifiers, and computer hardware;

• Provide day-to-day support to students with IT and Library related issues;

• Assist with document delivery, scanning and copying;

• Work with library databases and books;

• Install computer peripherals for users (Printers, scanner);

• Resolve/Report technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN);

• Assist different departments of ISET, as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Verbal and written communication skills in English;

• Good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (client-side); Microsoft Office 2013; PDF

• Basic knowledge of PC hardware, Printers, scanners, computer peripherals

• Basic knowledge of Client PC connectivity - Ethernet, TCP/IP

• Ability to communicate technical information to end-users
