Thursday, 01 March, 2018

Last month, the Alumni Association of ISET conducted a training session for the institute’s MA students, the aim of which was to provide information about the largest employers of ISET graduates, demonstrate their needs and expectations and prepare the students for the hiring process by conducting mock interviews. At the end of the training program, the Alumni Association of ISET issued attendance certificates to those students who attended all sessions of the course. The training program consisted of two parts, the first of which took place on February 14-15 and focused on presentations. The second segment was scheduled a week later and consisted of mock interviews to evaluate the progress of the participating students.

The training was conducted by ISET alumni Ketevan Mtsuravishvili (Class of 2012) and Nino Pruidze (Class of 2013), both of the State Audit Office of Georgia; Lasha Meskhia (Class of 2008) of the Policy and Management Consulting Group (PMCG); David Utiashvili (Class of 2009) of the National Bank of Georgia; and Ivane Pirveli (Class of 2011) from the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission.

The ISET Alumni Association was created in 2016 and serves the purpose of helping ISET BA and MA graduates in entering the job market by providing training programs, workshops, sharing information, and giving advice. The Alumni Association is also in charge of other activities that vary from ensuring networking opportunities among alumni to funding different extra-curricular activities and campaigns for students.
